Hot, Dusty, Remote…and that was in the capital.  This little travelogue was shot on our course through the southern reaches of the Sarah Desert. Tuareg camel races, and the Wodaabe Gerewol festival remain the highlights of the trip. Remember the K-3′s? Shooting documentary style with a camera that sounds like a garbage-disposal certainly kept me conspicuous…but the old spring wound camera never ran out of batteries and fit my budget.

This video is cut to an untitled track on “On Earth as it is in Heaven” by The Plains, on Global Seepaj Records.
